Steve is, originally, from Ohio, where he graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH. After moving to Atlanta, he began his career as a manufacturer’s representative in 1985. Since the beginning, Steve has always tried to position himself as a resource to the architectural/design community by representing quality companies and offering great service. Throughout the years, he has gained experience by representing companies in all the segments of interior finishes: Ceilings, walls, floors, metals, wood, glass resins, films, quartz, etc.

Besides representing products, Steve's life has been active through his involvement with his family. He and his wife, Debbie, have two adult children. Their son, Grant, now works for DSA, and their daughter, Emy, lives and works in Atlanta. Since becoming “Empty Nesters”, Steve and Debbie have been finding new activities to keep them busy.

Hal is originally from southern Ohio, and throughout the last several years has gained great experience in product knowledge while representing companies in all market segments of interior finishes: Commercial Furniture, Contract Textiles, Custom Lighting, Architectural resins, metals, wood, glass, walls, quartz, ceilings and flooring. Hal joined hands with Design Solutions of Atlanta 10 years ago, where he expanded his architectural specialty product lines and now covers the state of Tennessee, excluding Knoxville.
Hal and his wife, Melissa, have two beautiful daughters. His oldest daughter, Britt, graduated from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville and is a third-grade teacher at Goodpasture Christian School in Nashville. Britt and her husband have 2 children. Hal's youngest daughter, Sarah, graduated from Tennessee Tech, and she and her husband live in Newbury Park, CA. Sarah's husband, Carter Crutchfield, is the Chief of Staff for the LA Rams. Hal and Melissa enjoy attending Rams games and visiting their two year old granddaughter, Ellie, in California. Hal still cheers for the Tennessee Volunteers when it comes to college football.
In Hal's free time, he's been heavily engaged in the local Nashville music scene for the last 16 years, and is currently the frontman/lead vocalist for his Pop-Rock-Country band "VINYL FOUR". Be sure to follow VINYL FOUR on Facebook! Hal also enjoys working out at the gym and riding his vintage Raleigh Clubmaster on the Nashville greenway for some good cardio. Grant graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2018 where he studied marketing and public relations. He previously worked in various communication roles ranging from corporate public relations to agency marketing and advertising. At DSA, Grant has worked primarily as a rep, and is now a partner in the business, assisting all architects, designers and contractors in the GA, TN & AL markets. He also handles the agency's online marketing.
Outside of DSA, Grant spends most of his time hiking or biking with his wife, Meredith. They also love exploring the city with friends, and kickin' back with their cat, Olive.
